The Person Behind Kashi Darshan

Smt. Lalitha V.

A Commerce graduate. A lifelong devotee.
“I walked Kashi so that no pilgrim would ever feel lost in her lanes.”

Smt. Lalitha V., daughter of Smt. Kaveri and Late Shri A.S. Narayan of Goregaon, Mumbai, and wife of Shri P.S. Venkataramanan, carries forward a family mission of guiding pilgrims through Kashi. A Commerce graduate from Mumbai, she has helped devotees from Mumbai, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and beyond complete their Kashi Yatra.

She personally visited over 350 temples of Kashi — with her husband and family friends — to record their exact locations, poojas and significance as set out in the Kashi Khand. She and her husband met Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to suggest ways to develop religious tourism in Kashi, presenting him two books, “Shiv Lings of Kashi” and “Graha Dosham”.
